I can do mince pies easy even though I hate them

I might break out and do a cake

I don't bake much because I'd just pig out on it all and be 20 stone by easter

I'm not baking a big cake this year, other than the odd slice if someone comes over its only me that eats it. And then I wonder why my jeans don't fit come New Year. A few years ago I started making mini ones to give to people (no fancy tins required, baked in a half size washed out baked bean tin) and I'll be doing those again.

Then it'll be sausage rolls and all the usual gubbins for the big day.

Not doing a Christmas cake this year, have left it a bit late with the fruit soaking and it's only my ten year old who eats it. My youngest has made one at Brownies so she can eat that

I will be making several Yule logs (Nigellas recipe) as we take them to friends houses when we visit. Will do mince pies and sausage rolls too.

LOVE the Christmas baking

I do a really rich Nigella chocolate log with chocolate syrup for over the top, probably make some brownies and some cheesecake and quite possibly a pie! I hate cake with raisins in so I'm going rogue.
