I had this one off jacket from a company where I knew a designer and it was just the most hideous thing ever when I look back on it with big designs all over it including a massive cross! Was just hideous.

Everything I wear is fashionable. I'm like Jackie Kennedy reincarnated.

Except the blond highlights when I was 15. That was just tragic

Attempted to go blonde from dark blonde/brown, when I was about 22 - 23 yrs old.

The initial bleaching stripped it down to platinum, but the subsequent tint sent me ginger.

Nowt wrong with ginger, if you have the matching eyebrows and skin tone. I didn't. Lasted a couple of weeks then I had a number 2 cut all over and grew it out quick!

Tartan pants, that stopped at your shins? Scarf tied round your wrists? Hairstyle that made you look like you were wearing headphones under a wig?

It could have been worse. You could have been dressed like Dave Hill from Slade.

I do remember wearing burgundy side lace up, winklepickers. Burgundy trousers, white silk shirt, burgundy skinny tie with tie pin through the collar and a tie clip to the shirt. And a very long fringe a la human league.

But I did look good though. Honest.

Post box red tight jeans that gave me a camel toe, coupled with a post box red loopy cardigan. For those that aren't old enough to know what a loopy cardigan is it's a short, zip up knitted cardigan with loops of wool hanging all over it. It makes you look like a sheep. I was a red sheep, with a camel toe.

Mate if mine had a footballers perm at school about 1985-86.

Lasted less than a week. Became a skinhead for a while instead.

"who brought and wore a shell suit come on own up your secrets safe with us "

I had a shell suit. It was given to me. I was a kid, but still, somehow I should have known it was wrong.

I also had ginger hair...trying to lighten my black hair went very wrong. For some reason, I also thought I'd dye my eyebrows too. They also turned ginger.

There is a shop in Birmingham that (when the mood takes it) does 3 dresses for £5. On my last visit, two of them were quite OK...

The third was subsequently rediscovered in the Oxfam shop a few weeks later by a TV friend of mine. She bought it for me for £5.99 on the grounds that it was "just me". I didn't have the heart to say no!

Perm, shoulder pads, ankle socks, ra-ra skirt, drainpipe jeans, Lady Di blouse, bomber jacket.... basically, the whole of the 1980s was a fashion disaster.

Two she'll suits I got for my 10th birthday in 1990. I begged for them. Had a bottle green one and a lilac one. Loved them!

A Naff Co 54 jacket for my 12th birthday.

When I started high school in 92, the latest rage wad necklaces with big plastic dummies and matching earings.

Beer bottle tops on my shoe laces!
