Should people who have a great track record in the computer game Football Manager, be allowed to manage real teams?

Nowadays proper managers don't stay long. I think it might be worth a try.

There is a chap who was working in Azerbaijan as a football manager based on his online game CV.

As much as I'd like to think it was my amazing managerial skills that got Cheltenham from league 2 to premiership in 3 seasons, I don't think the game relates to reality in any way. Though I do have a friend who got interviewed for a job after jokingly sending in a CV stating his football manger prowess.

I have done my first part of my coaching badges and I struggle to get bury promoted although I did once tempt Ronaldinho and Robinho to Sunderland and guided them to the premier league title only 6 months after I took over them from being bottom in the league and loosing 6 on the bounce, I joined them from Newcastle as well.

Actually it does. Run a season simulation without playing about 10 times and take the average league points of each premiership team and it'll be 85% accurate to the actual season, on average
