Its a teacake ....end of..and before anyone starts and says no they have currants in em....those are currant teacakes..had a mass debate many moons ago with a CEO of Warburtons at a Kumite comp and there were peeps from all over it was funny listening to what each region, town city, country called them...think we forgot about the Kumite and got enthralled with the big teacake debate

I've been up in the Midlands and lived in Manchester and I still call it a roll. Causes many discussions being that Mr is a Yorkshireman.

Pikelets are thinner than crumpets. Taste the same, but they don't hold as much butter, so probably better for you. Hopefully.
