Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

The tarp on the roof down the road having a loft conversion didn't look very secure earlier this evening. If it survives the night the roofers are champion knotters.

Barney sheered off a very large branch on an 800 year old tree. There is a painful, almost white gash along the trunk and a big gap.

Trees of that age are usually Well known is this tree well known? to Think it has survived 800 years and this is its only major damage as to be said is outstanding, I know yew trees in a sheltered cemetry can dodge the worst, If the thinking behind that was For the welfare of the tree, thats a marvelous Insight to have, hope this old tree gets over this damage such a Shame if it does,t.
