Think of being on a swinging site less like a place it should be easy to get what you want and more like a place where you might find people with a similar interest.

Imagine if you wanted to find people to start a book club... a library may be a good starting point but not eveyone who walks through the door will want to read the same books or want to be in a club.

Keep getting yourself known in your local scene.

Continue to go to socials, it is daunting as a single guy, maybe try and hook up with other single guys.. less scary standing at the bar all alone.

most important..

you need to go knocking on the door of opportunity, unlikely it will come knocking on yours....

Or perhaps take a little time to fill out your profile rather than just tick all the boxes, at the moment all it tells us is that you cannot accommodate and you cannot travel so how would you intend meeting someone? Also it’s a dead giveaway that your favourite letter of the alphabet is x

Try telling them why you are messaging them.

If it's because they are local.. tell 'um.

If it's because something stood out in their profile... tell 'um.

If it's because you're bored and have a semi-cob-on... tell 'um.

It's your reason for contacting them not anyone elses.

I like that idea but it doesn't stop the first time hate mailers. Also a lot just don't read profiles. I bet you still get messages from people who dont read yours fully. Its all pretty frustrating at times

report and delete hate and abusive mailers. that's where everyone has to do. perhaps you feel you are different in some way to others on here?
