Watching Wild with Reese Witherspoon and she undertaking a 1000 mile trek along the Pacific Coastal Trail. (In a film that is)

Whilst my poorly legs would never carry me that far has anyone done anything like it?

The most I have done is the El Picacho trail in Spain.

Well as a 'bigger' lady and I avoid stuff like this if I can, a few years ago I did a sponsored geocache challenge, find 100 in two days, it's not a major amount of mileage at all but I walked 50 miles over two days, which was a MAJOR achievement for me!!

yes depending on what footwear, socks, You have on and the kind of terrain weight you are carrying anywhere after 10 miles blisters can kick off, its always wise if useing new things for the First time to make sure they are slowly broken in a bit before a challenge, even If its your own personal one, by doing that I walked 18 miles on a route in my Scarpa boots with no blisters, and once Before the Same distance years back.
