OUCH OUCH OUCH and fookin OUCH

Having knackered my ankle at the weekend and could barely walk. Been to the hospital, got cortisone injection and strapped up, foot was starting to feel a wee bit better today (don't know if that's the tramadol and vodka mix).

Just took in a delivery for my next door neighbours... hobbled to the door and the bloody delivery guy dropped a box on my fookin foot!!! Screaming here and think I may have scared the delivery guy too.

Can someone come and pour me a vodka - for medicinal purposes.... seriously crying in pain now!!!

Oh my....that sounds like a non to nice thing to happen to you....So I shall share your pain,albiet metaphysically of course,,,but at least the thought is there...

So... anyway...with ya foot being all strapped up..... ya couldn’t lend me ya shoes… cud ya,,,,,,,, I promise I'd return em... or get Viccyboi to fetch them to ya.... although saying that, I cant be sure he wouldn't be trying them on himself...and I don’t think that’s an awfully good idea,,, after-all it could easily tip a guy over to the dark side…..and I should know!!!!

anyways ,,,,((((big huggles to ya foot. and ya can also have some of these chocolate flavoured best wishes too))))

i know what the pain is like though.

i broke an ankle at daytona and didnt know it. was walking around on it and raced again in the afternoon.

if it wasnt for my motorbike boot the bone would have been displaced.

when they cut the boot off the whole of the foot was discoloured with blood and swollen.

took about 10 weeks to heel but i was back on a bike in a cast within a week.

cheers Pa.. it's not broken but because it's a Grade II Ligament sprain and I was walking on it for 3 days before going to hospital, it would have been easier to deal with if I HAD actually broken it. Got to go back on Thursday as the discolouring is now spreading into the toes and up my calf, so it's now taking it to high level!!!

Hell, I dinnae dae things by half - and this was me going doing stairs in my feckin socks

hospital strapped it up and gave me a stookie support boot, but foot looks like it is swelling up more and as i said the bruising is rapidly moving.

Gonnae go to the vet in the morning lol

as others have said rest rest and more rest sod the housework keep it raised and have plenty of choccies and t l c im sure there are some nice gentleman around to go and get you takeaways etc

Try rubbing it with vodka, in the bottle.

If that fails, drink the bottle!

Get well soon, know how it feels when I did all the ligaments in mine, just had to rest and cool pack for as long as could be arsed- 10mins on, 10mins off- increases the bloodflow to the area, which helps repair cells xx
