I honestly don't know how this happened and went on for so long!! Mind you if the girl in question hadn't of experienced a cock before she wouldn't have known I guess.

Still the mind boggles!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Yes, this was news yesterday.

A woman in Chester used a fake Facebook profile to "pull" an existing female friend. They always met with a blindfold on the victim, had sex 10 times due to "Kye's" body image issues. On the tenth occasion the victim pulled off the blindfold to reveal her mate with a strapon.

"Kye" was sentenced yesterday to eight years for 3 counts of sexual assault.

Wymondham

According to the radio reports last night the girl who was duped was "vulnerable" which could mean any one of a million things but is most likely shorthand for (and I apologise) "not the sharpest knife in the drawer". Plus, the offender already had form for this offence: it wasn't even her first time doing this.

I think that's the one thing we can be grateful to Julian Assange for: the concept of 'conditional consent' in English law....

Edinburgh.

This is an outrage. If the "guilty" party had been a man who couldn't get an erection and used a strap on instead would he have gone to jail? What a disgusting waste of public money.

I think a better analogy would be if jizzabelle blondfolded you and told you she had a treat for you, then unbeknownst to you, brought in a big bull

I have absolutely no idea what 'blondfolding' is, or why my phone continues to write its own jokes...

There is an obvious reason for the second part...

8 years? that will never stand, lucky if the conviction does.

whist her actions were appalling, millions of people lie like this everyday.

I don't think the fact that she lied is the issue.

I thinks it's the advantage that was gained by the lie.

Plus the victim seems to be vulnerable.

Terrible abuse of trust.

Try googling "conditional consent"

Appeal? Already been done. Assange went to the highest possible court before losing.

People *do* lie every day, but a potential conviction for rape or sexual assault is a powerful incentive.

Suddenly the phrase "we would never sex with someone who is (insert your chosen lie here)" becomes more interesting...

For someone to go that much effort to create a fake persona and lie like that deserve to be locked up. Especially if preying on vulnerable people.

I dont know how people don't actually take this seriously.

Your examples aren't quite the same as the op, except perhaps the last one.

"I give blood, so would never consent to having sex with a man who has had sex with another man" would be comparable imho. That case will certainly stir things up!

I've been thinking about that one.

Possibly, though with a condom there is the added sti consideration. A jury might feel the man could equally, and easily, have used a contraceptive himself, and that added uncertainty might persuade the cps not to procede with the case.

I'm 'sort of' with you on this. As I was reading it , I was thinking ' I don't see the problem' ....... I'll read the story and let it filter through.

I can't see the 'crime' as yet.

I take it seriously. That doesn't mean I think the 'fake bloke' is guilty of anything more than a deceit no worse than others take part in on a daily basis. I need more info.

I've read it. First i've heard of it. It's quite heartbreaking on more than one count.

Right now I find the sentence harsh if indeed necessary at all.

I do need to mull over this.

While I think the sentence was too hard. I wonder if it's due to the victim being classed as 'vunerable'?

I suspect if a crime like this was carried out against you or I it would get a lighter sentence than one carried out against someone with say mental capacity issues.

Obviously I'm just guessing here.
