Googled it. Apparently he was paid 9000 for doing CIN in 2005, while no other celeb was paid

Not good

Apparently being the key word.

Even if it's true, no one knows what he did with the money, he could have put it back in the CIN pot for all anyone knows.

Thursday is rant day, Monday is grumpy day.

It would appear Friday is random character assassination day.

His chauffeur company was also used for the celebrities too by all accounts. He probably earned a mint from this too

Still Eurovision has never been the same since he left, so children in need will be odd tonight. Not as though I watch it, not since the invention of my TiVo box, I can just watch the 'best bits'

Yep. Even if he is paid a lot of money it's a fraction of what's donated.

Is that wrong? What about all the people driving the cars, maintaining them and doing the administration should they be earning?

Let's be honest, even if it's true, £9000 is hardly a fee at all for a celeb of his standing.

I'm willing to bet the cameramen, directors, producers et al were all paid.

Don't see anyone whining about what they were paid.

It's nice how it's moved on from Savile's day when it was Children I Need. Least BBC now giving something back.
