Just seen signs up for trees

£37.50 for a nordman up to 7ft

I'm off out to pick our tree this weekend. Pay £15 at the local shop then off to the plantation to tag the one we want. Call back in 5 weeks or so to cut it down

How much do you expect to pay for yours?

"Who cares?"

A little harsh on a general benign friendly chat type thread, of which there are many on here

Sheffield

Mine was a fiver from Woolworths (remember them). When I got it I had two kittens and was wary of how they'd behave around a tree (real or otherwise) so I got a cheapo one as a test.

It turns out that I really like it so it comes out every year. Oh and the mogsicles don't chew or climb it they just bat some of the baubles so any breakable ones go up high.

I love real trees but Paul hates them.

So think we will be having our usual next artificial tree- think we paid about £80 for it but lasts for a long time.

When I have purchased real trees they have been £30 + depending on the size

The cabin we are going to in Scotland for Christmas is going to be decprated already. So we don't need to spend anything on a tree.

I'm sooooooo excited!!!

Hate real trees and have always had an artificial one. ..some great looking ones about these days. ..mine cost me £45 a few years ago and works out considerably cheaper than a real one each year...

Like the smell of a real tree but hate the mess and ultimate waste of a tree.

I know they don't grow ON trees, but its the next best thing, so they should be cheap. I haven't bought a real one for years, no idea how much they should be.
