Abigail?? Only in the far north isn't it? Mainly in the islands. I think a lot of this is misleading reporting, will be the same lot that predict 100 days of snow and all that shite. Windy in Shetland is hardly rare

Yes it is storm of the century and it is called abigale and it will hit the uk today. Met Office has issued a amber warning, exciting I like storms and it will be a very wet week, get ur umbrella ready

Yes it has been all week, even yesterday it was wet and windy but slill 16 to 18dgrs, I had waterproofs on over a teashirt n shorts n was sweating!

Here in North Wales, it started with a very heavy hailstorm at 6am this morning, and the peaks are already dusted with snow...

It's been alternating sun and gales all day - and we're promised the heavy stuff tonight - straight in off the Atlantic..!

Might be the wrong night to go dogging......
