Hi.

This isn't discussion that's probably been round since the start of visual representation of the human form

What (in your opinion) makes a picture erotica and what makes it porn?

For example. Our profile pic.. Yes it's quite explicit, but it's very well taken (cheers to Him) and is not (we think) the usual "wank fodder" pics.

(shall make it public for a bit)

So would it be classed as erotica or Porn.

I've always thought erotica was suggestive and makes your imagination work for the reward. That doesn't mean porn can't also be erotic, just that some porn hands it all to you on a plate visually.

We have found that it's all do do with the style of the pictures (or the shooting if it's on film form)

Porn seems less "classy" if that makes sense..

I would agree as we can see too much for it to be erotica. But then again, very tame for porn.

I personally think both are the same, they're both intending to arouse people sexually, just we pretend one is 'classy' and one isn't.

I think it's the suggestion rather than the obvious

I also don't think that back and white pictures equals classy and erotic rather than pornographic

You can change the mood but not the actual picture

I would have to go with 'erotic porn', the act of oral is clearly porn but the pose and look of passion and lust in her eyes is what makes it erotic. Also it has a classic look, using black and white. Well done, I love it

For me the fact that the act is visible makes it porn.

If you'd framed it slightly differently then it could well be erotica.

Hint, tease, tickle -make someone's imagination fill in the gaps....

Make them want to see more...

Then it becomes erotica
