It appears that the true swingers' signalling mechanism has been diluted into a cliché.

So, for those of you who wish to discreetly display your lifestyle choice, this is how to make proper use of pampas grass.

Outside the left hand half of the house - the female is bi.

Outside the right hand half of the house - the male is bi.

This originates, obviously, from the side that people stand during weddings.
