Any advice out there regarding purchasing a home rowing machine?

Rowing is the only cardiovascular exercise that I enjoy.

I bought a second-hand Concept2 model-C which I use daily and I can't praise it high enough.....

Always look around for a second hand one

People buy gym equipment and use them as an ornament

Too true, friends of mine have a very expensive clothes horse in the shape of a treadmill

Another vote for the Concept 2 here

I've had a couple of others over the years, and invariably, they've broken. The Concept 2 is a good workhorse (and that's probably why you'll find them at most leisure centres/gyms) Even second hand ones are a great buy with loads of life left in them

Chippenham Malmesbury area

Concept 2 - brilliant but costly!

I love rowing machines but the life jacket tends to chafe at times

Yeah the concept 2 is the best option ...

I'd offer to help with a different form of cardio but in reality, you'd get way more strokes from a rowing machine!

Concept2 has won hands down. If I cannot get a second-hand one, what is second best? I need value for money as I have to watch those pennies.
