Has anyone used t5 fatburning pills or know someone who has?

I've been thinking about it for a while as I piled a fair bit of weight on. Tried the gym but, all I did was get heavier.

I know there was a woman who died recently after using diet pills but, unsure if it was t5's.

Any & all advice appreciated.

Change your diet and watch the calories and do some exercise. Don't bother with the pills. If they worked, people wouldn't be watching their diets, calories and doing exercises.....

I use them, but I only use them as a extra help when taking part in endurance cycling events.

Diet and exercise will do 99% of it, these just add a tiny bit too it

Dont mess with your pancreas.

Eat better, get better exercise (walking, swimming, cycling). Make these kinds of changes permanent instead of taking pills for years trying to keep the weight off.

There is no shortcuts, eat low calories below maintenance about 1300kcal and do lots of cardio and after a while the weight will drop of, for some it takes longer cos every bodys works differently.

I have made changes to portion sizes & eat less fast food/takeaways but, free time to exercise is very limited.

Quite fond of the beer too which doesn't help either.

Thanks for your input

They're just a rip off of the old ECA stack. Basically caffeine, an ephedrine substitute (ephedra or bitter orange) and green tea.

Usually all the lowest quality available bought as cheap as possible from China.

I wasn't planning on using them long term, say 1-2 months to make a difference then keep the weight off by proper excersise & eating right.

13st 2lbs to 11st 8lbs.

Not by a conventional method, sadly. But highly effective for slimming into tight rubber dresses!

DNP does work, it's just because of the way it works there's no feedback loop in take more the effect increases unlike things like t5 or clenbuterol which your body suts down the receptors for so they stop working.

So when people take DNP and notice "wow on Xmg a day I lose 3lb a week if I take 2Xmg a day I'll lose 6lb!" The effects ts then increase and because it affects a process that your body must perform to live your body ramps up atp production massively and all the extra energy wasted is converted to heat and silly impatient fatty dies of heat stroke.

So having failed to lose weight by exercise and diet you will keep the weight off with diet and exercise... I'm seeing a flaw in this plan. And that's before you factor in the fact you said you don't have time to train

My problem with cardio work is that usually involves running or cycling, both of which kill my knees. At best I can do brisk walking on the treadmill with a few 2min jogs mixed in.

I honestly don't know why people overcomplicate weight loss so much.

There really is no need to start cutting specific foods out of your diet. Just eat less than you burn (there are umpteen ways of working this out) and try and do some exercise. If you would like to maintain your muscle mass (and therefore look more.."toned" when you are finished) you must do resistance training in some form.

The odd thing is that now I struggle a bit when I bulk - I have an outdoor job and that plus the gym means that unless I'm on 3500 cal/day, I am just spinning my wheels.

Progressive overload is the key - if you don't keep adding weight/reps you are just maintaining the strength you have and you aren't getting dem gainz.

The research evidence shows that people who do both diet and exercise changes are the most successful at both losing weight and keeping it off. There's no real benefits from losing it but then regaining it - so my advice is to stick with what works.

Fat pills - I'm assuming full-on woo nonsense.

Always follow the evidence. That wont be manufacturers claims and anecdotes, but independent research published in recognized professional journals. If it's not published, it's not credible.
