What Ho All!!!!

Just a quickie to say cheerio.

I have had enough og life here in the great metropolis so having considered my options I am off to the Shetland Islands.

I have found a crofters cottage, no mains water, phone line, neighbours etc...although I do believe there is an electrical supply. I will able to open the kitchen window and throw stones into the Atalantic ocean....all in all it sounds like heaven!

There'sno phone line, and mobile coverage is patchy but I hope to pop in here from time to time to annoy you all and post the occasional fugy story

It's beena blast. Thanks for all the fab forum posts, chats etc that have brought tears to my eyes and amused me. Thanks to all of you that have been there to steer me through the darker times

I hope that I'll not become the wicker man and that I'll make the occasional trip back to civilisation so may see some of you about.....so keep the kettle on

Sounds like you're off to live a life of near complete solitude in a barren, windswept rugged wasteland. And you'll have little or no contact with the outside world, and bugger all chance of any sex.

So it'll basically be the same as being a single guy on Fab.

I'm not even sure you'll notice a difference (apart from the welcome will be a bit warmer).

Well your escaping the rat race.. I know our experiences create our future discoving new things doing diffrent things. Being happy and healthy i am sure at times it will find it hard going. I love wild life and love peace and the changing of the months and my animals .. at times you have to step back to see just how lovely it all is and how lucky we are. If you feel thats right for you do it x good luck xxjo
