Generally because its harder for women (being more nurturing) not to equate sex with feelings of affection, whilst men (being biologically programmed to spread their seed) don't generally do so.

*disclaimer- this is a grossly exaggerated version of the societal norm- (well my perception, anyway,) and there are many exceptions in both sexes.

Brains are complex systems. Right said for communicating. I believe despite normal brains men think they are superior. Men still earn more than women.

Our understanding of each other leads much to be desired.

Some of us do not comprehend understanding each other.
