Mine doesn't have a visible button by there is a bit on the surround that has the standby symbol on it and if I touch it there it goes on/off.

It was there months before I noticed.

It was there months before I noticed.

Get a child to show you how to switch it on. They always know. I had my tv for six months and never knew there was an on off button until we couldn't find the remote. Within seconds the tv was on

If its anything like our TV we thought exactly the same, hunted for weeks for a button only to find at the bottom corner there was a "touch screen" type one it's invisible till you know where to look

And yes our then 5 year old showed us where it was

I googled - there are infrared enabled phones which will work with a bunch of compatible tv's.....who knew!
