"Boiler pcb has gone.£190 quid for the part..£45 to fit it,and now the electrics keep tripping in the kitchen after spending £700 getting downstairs rewired! Sunday can kiss my arse.." switch everything of. Then switch it back on one at a time till goes again. It might be a neural to earth fault. | |||

"A faulty element in your oven or hob can cause the electrics to trip - I have the same whenever I try to use my big oven, the element is old, but it works ok, but keeps tripping the breaker." if the breaker is tripping then it means it's not working ok | |||

"A faulty element in your oven or hob can cause the electrics to trip - I have the same whenever I try to use my big oven, the element is old, but it works ok, but keeps tripping the breaker. if the breaker is tripping then it means it's not working ok " It's a well known symptom of an old element - doesn't mean it's leaking live mains voltage on to the appliance or to earth - modern consumer unit RCDs are very sensitive and will trip with a minute residual current. I appreciate they are designed like this to err on the side of caution, which is why I don't use the big oven at the moment until I get round to replacing the element. | |||

" Not sure what the problem is.everything is off,and unplugged but still trips when i try putting the kitchen sockets back on.. | |||
