Yes undoubtedly. Money doesn't bring happiness but it's far more comfortable to be unhappy if you can afford to heat your home, eat decent food and pay to have your teeth fixed.

I have an ok job, the money isn't bad at all. I still live month to month. Yes i have a new car and go on holiday a couple of times a year and can do pretty much what i want to do, but it doesn't leave much for the old savings.

Sorry... didn't answer the queation.

I have no money worries, but that isn't what makes me happy - it's just one less thing to worry about.

My kids make me happy, and Natasha makes me happy. That's all i really care about.

Think having it on a plate takes away the working/dream ethic.

Always worked hard for what we have and have been very happy doing it

When on holidays always look forward to getting back and into it....god knows what will happen at retirement

It Doesn't seem fair, that if you have money you can see a GP if you pay, but everybody is entitled to Health Care.

I realise moaning about won't make a blind bit of difference.

Oh i don't imagine for one second my kids are missing out because we don't go on proper holidays and they don't get much for their birthdays or Christmas but it would be nice to be able to afford to treat them now and then...and not to have to worry about any big unexpected expenses.

Of course it does. Life is harder without money, of course it depends who you are, what you want and what you have to do to get it. No guarantees but it's a damn sight easier to make changes to your life if you have cash. And even if your still unhappy I'd rather be miserable in a Ferrari than miserable on the bus

Yes 10,000% easier, imo.

Spent over 30 years of my life in poverty, not from wasting money or sky TV and all that shit, i was a pisshead at one point but that's all i spent my money on, and even after giving that up i was poor.

Ended up in debt just from things like rent, if the kids needed shoes they had to wait until pay day even if they were falling to bits, i didn't even get new shoes at all.

Now i can buy whatever we need, and pay all my bills, no worries. Hell i can buy whatever i want too. If you have no idea what this feels like then i do pity you coz not to have to worry about bills or needs or where your next meal is coming from is brilliant and gives you a great sense of freedom.

I think everyone should have to live in poverty for several years before being allowed to serve the public, that way they know exactly how poverty works and how it effects those they are serving.

I think everyone should try living in poverty before they're even allowed to open their mouth on people on benefits too.

"Is life easier if you have money?

. It depends how you obtained your money and what you spend on..

Ifv you spend it on lots of luxury items such as expensive flashy cars it does not necessarily make life easier .

Money gives you freedom of choice and the opportunity to have total control over your life and what you do.

Used correctly it will make life much easier .

I've seen the thread title(and read none of the replies)

But for a serious thread you have just asked a dumb ass question.

Money doesn't make a person, but does it make life easier......Of course it does.

Why would you think it didn't ?

Money wont make you happy, but it sure makes misery more bearable.

Easier? Easier to pay the bills that is if you dont increase your spending in line with the extra money you might have.

I would say no! life is not easier with money.

I had money and a house, cars and I was miserable. The more money I had the more money I spent maintaining a life and lifestyle that I didn't particularly like or want. It was hard work. Literally. I worked 50 sometimes 60 or more hours a week. Not including the wasted hours of my life commuting to and from said job.

So when I was made _edundant and I found out my partner of 18 years was also so unhappy it had forced him into the beds of other women, I gave it all up. I gave my house and cars to my ex and I walked away with a suitcase and a laptop. That was 6 years ago.

After prolonged periods of unemployment/ short term contracts and homelessness, I now live in a rented studio apartment with very few possessions and very little money and I am very happy and content. Life is easy and most importantly I am happy.

Yeah there are some days I think I wish I could afford stuff but that's just me wanting stuff. I don't need it. It wouldn't make life easier.

I have everything I need and that's all right.
