Any travel agents on here can offer me some advice???.

It's just been confirmed to me by email my holiday is now cancelled someone will be calling me tomorrow to discuss further. We can only travel Saturday or Sunday so what should we expect to be offered?.

Can I dream of an upgrade to maybe a Mexican beach or has my cloud run out of silver lining? Lol

Will it be a week in Benidorm lol

Probably something of at least equal value and quality - they will want to keep you sweet for future business.. Even if you're limited as to when you can travel, hold out for something that looks good..

Decide in advance what your minimum acceptable offer will be - but never tell them that, else they'll just want to haggle down from that point.

Whatever people offer me I also am under no obligation to accept it, without considering it - id ask for confirmation of it in writing straight away as well as how long the offer stands.

Id also check the bookings terms and conditions, so you know what you have agreed to. Often they are unreasonable and more in their favour. You'll be covered by ABTA, I assume, so check their site for info.

Realise you asked for travel agents - which I'm not. Hope you get a great alternative!

I agree with all points well made above - but don't forget they'll want to keep your business (commission etc).. Lay it on thick, keep your cards close to your chest and hold out for a good alternative deal!

Love Sharm... Always comes with a safety warning, but the 3 times I've been there. It's been fantastic. & ive felt extremely safe.

As the others have said stick to your guns. Worst case is you'll get your money back
