First you need will power, exercise such as cycling, running, lots of activities. Cut down on your bread, rice, spaghetti, potatoes, chocolate. Eat lots of veg. Chicken, fish. Also grapefruit, avocado, tomato.

I am diabetic and eat a high protien medium fat carb restricted diet. Fats are now disproven to cause heart disease but still make sure its a mix of good amimal fats and veg fats like olive oil. Also for switching off cravings for carbs I use protien shakes. Its now thought we all undereat protien. I try to eat 250-300grams protien a day. There are receptors in the stomach lining that switch off cravings when activated by protien. Also the gym med Ostarine (not a steroid but a SARM) is known to improve diabetic symptoms, encourage more muscle synthisis and reduces body fat depositions. They do switch off matural hormone production by around 20% in men but women who are post menopausal benefit the most as it encourages bone growth too. Phoenix Nutrition 120 for £20
