Lucky heather

I was approached by an old lady selling lucky heather in the High Street today.

I told her, if the heather is so lucky, why are you reduced to selling that crap?

We had the same in our local town.

An old woman shoved a bunch of sea saxifrage into my face and demanded " a quid for the lucky white 'eather ".

I pointed out it wasn't heather and she got nasty.
