Swingers: Friendly or not so friendly?

I've been involved in the swing and fetish scene so I can ask this.

Is it easy to become friends with people you've swung with ( if that's the right expression ) after the encounter?

In the fetish scene because there are no real expectations of penetration I've found easier to become genuine friend with people away from fetish (as in life long friends ) but on the swinging scene I've found it's very different.

What's your opinion?

I've got lots of friends from the swinging scene. Been to weddings, birthdays, holidays, met families etc.

I think you can make friends with people if you're on the same wavelength, doesn't really matter how you met them.

I find that with ladies they are happy to be friendly and so on, but most guys as soon as they've shot their load, they want you to leave and not make eye contact

We are still friendly with a couple we swapped with years ago we moves away so did they. But get in touch a couple of times a year. Not seen them for years and yes all still swinging there like us happy with a strong marriage

I'd like to think so. Several people I have met have become friends, some very good. I have met members of their families and their vanilla friends. Of course being discreet helps.

My Own Little World

I have made a few good friends in my years as a swinger. Some I am happy to keep playing with and others I have become so close with that playing with them seems wrong, we still go to clubs together but nothing more.

But swingers are just people, some you add to your life, some you don't.

We personally keep our swinging meets and swinging friends totally separate but find the swinging scene friendlier than the fetish scene.

There are a small number of people who I've met along the way in swinging that I consider friends

I'm delving more into the fetish side so I can't comment on the differences just yet but I go into everything with an open mind and if I make friends then wonderful,If I don't,well I already have some anyway

As a single male I've found its much harder to remain friends after, simply because so many people expect you to run off after. I've one or two that could potentially become friends and one that I believe is. Other than that it's not looking likely. But then it is early days

It's been about the same in my experience - generally friendly. But it may depend on the type of people that you're attracted to sexually and vice versa, of course. Some people like sexual partners who are near anonymous, so they'll likely find that life-long friends are harder or impossible to come by. How many gloryhole partners are buddies?

We don't swing to make friends .

We have plenty of friends outside the lifestyle , and when people we meet get too clingy it's a pain in the arse .

Plus , as another poster said - people can be very two faced . Beware of supposed friends Iin the scene ....
