Now that Halloween is done, shops are now going into a full on, in your face, hardcore Christmas mode....

Got to admit, I was looking at Christmas trees online, lol

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Shops around here have had Xmas stock in since the start of October. They've put decorations up on a couple of the streets too.

I will admit to being a bit fed up of Christmas- as an adult- until recently. Becoming a parent changed that, and this year she will be almost 3- makes it exciting again!!

This will most likely be our last Christmas with any belief in Santa. 9 yr old keeps telling me Santa isn't real, I must be the tooth fairy & there is no Easter bunny. The 14 yr old can stop writing letters to Santa now

But!! They'll still want their PNP videos from Santa (Google - they are brilliant for young ones!) & will track NORAD on Christmas Eve

Will still do that!! The ten year old still kind of believes

yep, in my little head Halloween is my own 'official start of Christmas' - that, bonfire night, Christmas markets, Xmas lights everywhere, pantomimes, parties ... All started last night for me

I'm a rarity on here in that I bloody love it! Bring on the fun!

Couldn't agree more with you as it happens! A mere 8 weeks, the loveliest part of the year

Even though the magic has gone a bit I still enjoy the week or 2 off work.
