Sheer pain

Woke up fine sat down on chair had breakfast went to get up an sheer pain in my lower back can't bend or sit will a massage sort it

It happened to me, very similar. Get to Dr's, don't mess about!! I ended up with physio & acupuncture

See the out of hours doctor. It could be many things but we can't possibly say if a massage will sort it.

nurofen express liquid capsules work for me. never leave home without them.

Do not have a hot bath...

If inflamed will make it worse.

Use ice packs

Keep moving

Regular pain relief

If you get worse ( have problems with passing water) may need trip to A & E.

See Gp if still bad on Monday.

I slipped a disc 5 years ago.. Best thing I did and still do is visit a chiropractor.

Ibuprofen and co-codamol are safe to take together so I'd recommend go buying some.

ouch sounds painful :O

when you see your GP, get him to refer you to a pain management team (here the team is in the general hospital, and took a couple of months for the referral to go through, so get on it asap then you go direct to them)
