Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I don't like this new trend of closed shoes worn without socks.

From the Foot Facts site:

"There are roughly 250,000 sweat glands on a pair of feet. Sweat glands in the feet produce as much as half a pint of moisture each day."

What happens to all that sweat in sockless shoes?

I never wear socks, my feet don't sweat!

We all sweat but you might just get rid of it quickly. Or, are you a gusher?

Lib! You know I've been trying to get 'in on your action' for sometime.

I'd forgotten about the odd sock thread.

Have you noticed that babies always manage to lose one sock? I think it's their way of regulating their temperature.

I can't say I've been around babies long enough to notice but I can imagine what you mean.

It's the equivalent of sticking one leg on top of the sheets, I think.

If you're wearing a closed shoe wear some socks!

I keep imagining all those trendy young men getting fungal infections.

"I even wear socks with sandals. "

How properly British of you!

I am tempted but I resist the urge for open shoes (and because I don't have toe socks so I would have difficulty with the toe posts. )

I don't wear toe post shoes for the same reason I don't wear thongs.

I tend not to wear socks most of the time during the summer, unless the situation is inappropriate, but once the colder weather begins I start wearing them again

I have some ultra absorbent sex socks, with a tread on the bottom to give extra grip.

I'm intrigued!

My slippers even have toe posts. I don't wear socks from March to October.

I don't like the chafing.

Wank socks. Padded for extra tightness.

Oh! Hahaha... my toes don't do that.
