Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's that time of year when I find it difficult to stop eating comforting things in preparation for months of sleeping.

How do you fight off the hibernation urge?

I don't usually fight it. I'm going to try this year by walking as much as possible and saying no to dumplings,Christmas sweets and comforting hot chocolate

I make a massive effort to get out there & do things otherwise it's so easy to succumb

Dates in the diary, walks at lunchtime, busy Saturday's & chilled out Sunday afternoons with friends

It's supposed to be warm tomorrow once the mist clears so I should get myself out for a long walk.

I need to try and get out at lunchtime but once I'm at my desk I only seem to manage to leave it to go into meetings.

Central

I up my exercise levels, to keep warm and counterbalance it somewhat.

Autumn is my weight gain period though, it sucks!

My very big jumpers and the weight gain make me look like a giant pile of untidy knitting.

Grantham

I get as much daylight and fresh air as possible.

I don't eat 'comfort food' anyway as I can't eat gluten or dairy.

I don't have curtains in my house as they block out much needed light at this time of year.

Yep it's going to be glorious here tomorrow

Workwise it's an effort but I try and do a 15 minute walk a few times a week, blows the cobwebs away.

I do try and get the 15 minutes of daylight to my retinas as well as keeping the curtains open.
