In your experience which is good and which is bad in terms of cost and minimum hassle.

Looking specifically at films.?

I got my parents a Chromecast. They can broadcast most stuff to the TV with it. The Amazon stick thing looks better though as you can use the Netflix and Amazon apps. NowTV is good for movies too.

My Own Little World

Have you looked at Now TV, no contract and I think £10 a month for the movie channels.

Alternatively google cartoon HD.

I use internet and pc and its connected to the lcd tv

if its free im watching it and that includes the movies, I havent paid for a film since before 2001 and that was at local video shop renting videos out then
