Hawick

The Irish WP is finely milled, the Scottish is much rougher and all the nicer for it.

My prob with oily fish is whilst I love the taste the first time the constant repetition gets a tad tedious...lol

Peat Smoked salmon though.... lush. Google for it from the smoke house on South Uist.

Think i decided to try it as my daughters at that age where she is thankfully starting to try new foods and i thought that as an adult im no longer forced by my own mother to try new things so was eating the same things over n over..

not gonna claim that the Mackerel was amazing,, but wasnt as bad as i thought

Mackerel is one of my favourites. Might make pizza and fry some mackerel to go on it. Been meaning to do so for ages. Gotta pick up ratatouille for the sauce, lactofree cheese and dairy alternative milk

Also, buy mince and make your own stuff. Made meatballs, sausages, burgers, and stuff from mince. It's just a shape really, but great fun

little house on the praire

Mine have changed cause I eat bugger all now but when I do I have a penchant for dry biscuits like water biscuits.

Doesn't mean I stopped liking all the other stuff just trained myself.

Never got round to eating an egg on its own or a glass of milk, but not much I don't like.

I did see a chef cook deep fried sprouts the other day

That might be one way of overcoming my hatred of them

I'm a very very fussy eater... I rarely try any new foods. So tonight I tried mackerel and I really liked it

Just thought I'd share!

I had a Brie and Bacon baguette for the first time in Oxford last week!!

The skin on the Brie, tho usually a no-no was ok as the texture was hidden by the baguette, and I should have asked them to cut the fat off my bacon.. buttt... the slight melt to the Brie from the warm bacon and the taste was delish!!
