I think she's a sobbing actor who has got older. She's done a lot of stage work over the years but she's been very typecast with the birds of a feather character she played.

Well it's their career / income stream innit? Much like an older plumber 'clinging on to doing plumbing' to continue to earn a living

But for examples think of anyone prepared to eat kangaroo testicles in a jungle just to remain in the spotlight, Bobby Davro, Daniella Westbrook that sort of person

peter sndre, a triumph of tenacity over talent. We watch Strictly and I have to ask which the dancer is and which the alleged celebrity. They're all so desperate for the limelight, it's a bit like choosing an abandoned puppy from the rescue centre!

Many years ago I saw the woman that plays Cindy in Eastenders at Keele services on M6, walking in a circle desperately trying to "bump " into people just so they'd say "oh aren't you..." whatever her name was, was a pathetic sight

Iceland ad is very true. Closer to home, Lesley Joseph did the grand opening of a furniture shop near me a few years ago, and Marlon from Emmerdale Farm opened a butchers shop too, must be money in it but it's scraping the barrel surely.

In fact a local celebrity in Shropshire is the guy that plays Boycie in Only Fools, he's either sad or a genius, he turns up at anything with his tache and will smile/pose and do the "Marlene" voice thing, he's a one-man walking Groundhog Day but it's got to pay the bills surely

As an actor the only thing worse than not being remembered is being remembered really well for one thing. Your whole career then become you fighting against your own fleeting success

The thing about those shows though is that if you're at the height of your career you're not going to go on them, are you? I think some folk expect an A List cast....more like Z list with the occasional Y list!

Bruce Forsyth - should have retired years ago. His constant name dropping of famous people who he has appeared on stage with gets a bit boring when he has told it so many times before.

Lucy Porter - allegedly is a comedian but all i ever see on tv doing is giving her opinion on various talking head programmes(i love the 70's, 100 best comedy programmes etc etc). Her agent must have the booker of these programmes on speed dial because i don't think their is one i've not seen her on.

LOL yes they "loved their old mum" and really they never hurt anyone that didn't deserve it and had a code of ethics they worked to etc.Trust me if I was EVER inclined to try internet bingo I'd actively NOT chose the one that old trout advertises.
