Lottery money is being used to pay for the culling of squirrels. What a fantastic idea, we shouldn't stop there though. for me, it would have to be wasps. I hate those fuckers with a passion. so, what species would you wipe out if you won the lottery and why?

I dislike them both for being here and their effects upon our natives. American crayfish are very fast breeders, so our diminished UK stocks of our species are up against a much stronger pest, that's also infecting them. Local ones around here are now hard to see, unlike a few years ago.

I'd be against culling a native species anywhere, as my first choice.

Noxious invasive s are another major problem.

Also the likes of rspca should be prosecuted for releasing them after they have come in inju_ed they should be put to sleep not nursed back to health and released. It wont be long and there will be no _ed squirrels left unless there is a massive cull and a change in the law. Rant over lol

Id probably take out sea going mammals such as whales and seals. For 4 good reasons:

If the dolphins are allowed to continue to evolve they may one day enslave us all.

If there are no whales to save the members of Greenpeace can cut their hair, and get a real job.

We wouldn't have to be concerned with what the Japanese like to eat.

People wouldn't be able to brutally kill cute seal pups for their skins.

everything serves a purpose even if it's just being part of the food chain, you may not eat them but the animals you do eat will benifit from them as part of the food chain even if it was several species down the line

It's too late for the _ed squirrel, we'll never repopulate the entire country and erradicate the grey at the same time. Preserve the population that's left but let the grey's get on with it. They're nice to look at and tasty to eat.

None because it's a balance until we came along and exploit it then we fucked it up the one thing ide be concerned or consider is invasive species that we have moved to place to place lionfish being one as of now know have been found in freshwater 4miles in land e.g. rivers.

The one thing ide be concerned about is bringing the ocean back as we still have time and saving two species coral and sea grass as it provides 75% of the planets oxygen no brainer really

the knowledge of the earths eco systems are sometimes so embarrassingly bad, it embarrasses me.

if we are talking about pollination then we are talking about a variety of insect species especially that pollinate...with the dwindling of the earths bee population we need almost every insect that comes into contacts help.

the pests we claim to have are in the majority of being useful animals...unfortunately our poor management of our own eco system is whats given rise to vermin and disease spreading.

I'd say if anything I'd think about a few parasites, like tapeworms etc..

but I suppose I'm all in the wonder of nature in general..rather than its disgust...
