Those of you that are doing this... What is you're daily menu plan?

What do you eat, snack wise?

A basic day for me is

Scrambled egg and Turkey rasher for breakfast.

Quinoa, vegetables and mackerel for lunch.

Chicken or fish with vegetables for dinner. Occasionally a chilli.

Snacks are either hummus and carrot or quark and fruit.

Thankyou I read yesterday that carrots and parsnips and beetroot have a higher percentage of sugar in them than any of the others.

Lunch is chicken salad or home made soup

Dinner is chicken, steak or salmon with potatoes and veg

Snack wise - yogurt, carrots & houmous, fruit, sweet potato crisps.

I occasionally eat wholemeal bread. But not often at all. Very occasionally I'll have jacket potato, but that is usually only when I'm on a course and there is no other choice.

I try and fast twice a week using the 5 / 2 diet but depends on travel and client lunches. It's made a huge difference to my weight and feeling like I'm back in control of my food intake.

Today is a fast day - so you can all just fuck off and leave me alone! (It doesn't effect my moods at all)...

I try and not give too much of a shit what's that quote about 'eat the delicious foods'? Gonna be fairly good this week so I can have a fun day baking and eating Halloween goodies with my 5 year old on Saturday

Massively. When I'm having a bad day/week carbs are my go to food. I bloat so quick and exercise is pointless.

It's a plan where I fast on a Monday and a Thursday, eating just 600 calories and then, theoretically, I can eat what I like on the other five days. What I do is eat nothing from dinner on Sunday until dinner on Monday where I'll eat "meat free". But what happens is that you discipline yourself on the two days, which focuses the mind for the other days so you're more aware of what goes in your mouth. I wake on Tuesday and Friday morning feeling great, and not hungry at all.

I start to feel tired mid afternoon but I get over it but usually end up going to bed earlier on fasting days.

I'm a terrible snacker - and used to just grab anything I fancied, but this makes me more aware of what I'm doing and has made me feel more in control.

I'm not particularly overweight, but I've lost over two stone this year and kept it off.

You also need peanut oil (or mild flavoured oil), and possibly salt and honey - depending on your tastes.

Avoid meat on fast days, I eat fish, stir fry, bean burgers, salad. There's actually loads I eat. You can spread it over two meals if you like, but I can't do that, I need one decent sized meal! It gets easier once you're used to feeling hungry and I think that's one of the issues for many people, just not used to actually being hungry for any length of time!

You can eat anything you like, at any time you like, just keep it to 500 calories (it's 600 for guys, 500 for girls!). Meat is not your friend on fasting days! I'd PM you but I can't!

I haven't eaten gluten for 2 years. No bread, pizza, pasta, pastries, biscuits, cakes... If you want to lose weight that's how to do it. I lost 3 stone in a year.

A lot of potatoes! And rice! It's not that bad really, hardest bit is if you're out and about and want to grab a quick lunch.

Vodka is one of the best drinks to have while dieting 0 calories in vodka its what you put with it that makes it more tasty

Wait im lying its 231 calories to a bottle witch is good

it is a very effective diet I recently just cut out eating bread for 6 months it wasn't a conscious thing and I lost 7 kg

Just had an ostrich stake. actually that's not true. the cats just had an ostrich stake, bloody awful.(yes cooked) thankfully we had some bacon in the fridge. so that's ostrich tofu and couscous of my healthy list. think id prefer to eat what I want an die happy
