What I do is eat nothing from dinner on Sunday until dinner on Monday where I'll eat "meat free". But what happens is that you discipline yourself on the two days, which focuses the mind for the other days so you're more aware of what goes in your mouth. I wake on Tuesday and Friday morning feeling great, and not hungry at all. I start to feel tired mid afternoon but I get over it but usually end up going to bed earlier on fasting days. I'm a terrible snacker - and used to just grab anything I fancied, but this makes me more aware of what I'm doing and has made me feel more in control. " Avoid meat on fast days, I eat fish, stir fry, bean burgers, salad. There's actually loads I eat. You can spread it over two meals if you like, but I can't do that, I need one decent sized meal! It gets easier once you're used to feeling hungry and I think that's one of the issues for many people, just not used to actually being hungry for any length of time! | |||
