I've a few pairs from Alternative Footwear... they do a lot of the massive platform porn shoes (and lots in men's sizes for those who're interested) but you can also find some sexy little gems that you can walk in.

I have bought quite a few pairs of iron fist shoes from tk maxx. The most expensive pair were £20....my shiny red ones are monsoon shoes also from tk maxx. They cost £4!!

They are a bit hit and miss though so wouldn't recommend if you need some for an event. Ebay and Amazon can be good too. But then i don't have a lot of spare cash to spend on shoes so i tend to only buy when i see a bargain

My Red high heel stilettos were in the sale from River island and my White High Stilettos were expensive, but served me well, over 5 years and more

size 8 wide was fun to get at first but the local markets had a god stock of them

bought platforms and boots and shoes mostly from them even got proper leather thigh highs in size 8 wide

cheapest ive paid was 3.00 the dearest 30.00 and the leather thighs highs a bargain at 20.00
