Wtf is the point of these?

Whilst cycling through town on the way to work, a council worker was actually chasing a couple of leaves, after cornering them with the rest and into a pile, a gust took them all away again!

Now call me old fashioned, but I remember brooms being used with far better results!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Man rules...if something can be done with something powerful, it must always be done powerfully from that moment on...

I don't get the point in them. Wouldn't it be better if it sucked them up

There's lots of trees on the half mile from where I live into the town centre. Every year the council send 4 guys out to sweep, not blow or hoover, the leaves up. The last 2 yrs they have turned up on the windiest days of the year. My mate is on that particular team and last year when I was taking the piss, he chucked his brush at me

The council brush leaves up for you ? (well, attempt to). Hell, I don't think I have ever seen a council worker where I live, and we are dead posh. Pay posh council tax too
