Sat firmly on the fence I like all times of year for different reasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter all have exceptional reasons to be fantastic.

Well, other than January. January is the Satan of months and the one time of year I genuinely dislike!

In NY I love the fall. There is a crispness in the air, the leaves are beautiful, pumpkins everywhere, scarves and gloves too but it's not yet cold enough to freeze my tears.

In the UK, I'm going with the early summer. The land looks green and beautiful, events are held all over the place, walking is idyllic. And the rain isn't too annoying.

Each season has it's merits but I think Autumn is my favourite. The colours of Autumn are warm and comforting and the promise of snow is exciting. This morning the sky was blue with a warm red glow over the horizon, with wispy clouds that look like spun sugar. I walked along (slowly because of my blisters) kicking the crunchy leaves out of the way.

Yesterday afternoon I met a friend in the park; it was drizzling and the park was empty. We had a kiss in the rain, which was lovely and I spotted a robin by the lake. It was a very nice afternoon

Christmas - I love choosing presents for people. The challenge of thinking outside the box is brilliant

I love the height of summer, pure blue skies and baking sun, I also love this time of year, the leaves look so beautiful, the crisp autumn air and swish-swashing through the piles of leaves

October and November are my favourite times of the year, I love the leaves changing and halloween and dia de los muertos, and the inevitable decline of seasons etc... Also early nights and being warm in bed. I hate summer because it's so sticky and muggy, I'm much more of a winter person!
