I would say a size 12-14 is a perfectly normal size and is not anywhere near BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) territory!

I'm a BBW at size 20 - you've got a few more cakes to eat yet......

No its fine. It is a subject that quite often explodes but there's no rule to say you can't ask about it.

Bbw for me is a personal thing. If you want to describe yourself as one then do, regardless of your size although I would say 18+ is bbw.

I'm a dress size 14 UK (12 on bottom 14 on top)... Whatever. All depending on the shop and clothing item. I DO NOT consider that bbw. If that was the case 10-12 is plus size 8-10 is chubby, etc

Women's sizes go up in 2s. 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22...and so on.

Much the same in men's sizes. 28inch waist, 30 inch waist, 32 inch waist etc etc.

To be honest I think it's all relative. The fact you are quite short OP and curvy, yes some people would say you're a BBW Personally at a size 12-14 i'm slim. "Ill looking" people have said, but then i'm 8 inches taller than you.

See this is my problem, I was filling my size out for a dress I'm preordering, one of the question was big, heavy, obese, see I am classed as obese for my bmi obviously, but their obese was classed as size 24 and over (which I'm not believe it or not), which I couldn't understand!!!!! I clicked heavy and closed one eye while I did it!!
