If True Detective is anything to go by then I'd definitely say yes. I've only ever seen him in a few films and always thought he was ok.

He's very Marmite. Good at playing southern characters with a drawl. True Detective series one was brilliant. Interstellar not too shabby in that either.

Ooh no to me it was dark and menacing and atmospheric, and the tension built unbelievably towards the end!!
