It's a bit hard to spoil Ben Hur as the only person who hasn't seen it is a Tibetan Monk high up in the Himalyas who has dodgy eyes and is deaf.

y mum makes us watch tht everytime its on - so glad i'm not seeing her till tomorrow now lol

on the subject of classics i watched 'Singing in the Rain' today. as a self confessed musical lover i was ashamed i had never actually seen it

I've set that to record tomorrow. Gene Kelly's famous song/dance routine is pure classic genuis. What a gifted performer he was.

Got that on DVD too!

There are many great song and dance routine in that film, apart from the title number, which was apparently filmed in one take, my second favourite is "Make Them Laugh"!

Claude Rains was soooooo dashing in that film!
