forum bans

As i am new to site and have just been observing posts for sometime in various cats i have noticed there are a few posts which have been stopped or removed and i just wondered if it was done by Admin or Mods . Any help on this aubject would be great thanks and i hope i have not broken any rules by asking this .

Mods will close threads if its getting too heated or going round in circles, they will also c?lose them if there is more than one thread running on the same subject.

If your naughty and break the rules you get a time out but a message to let you know how long for.

Also rules can be found before you press post on your message

Some threads also may be closed if they contain fat/big letters, as when users quote earlier posts it can mean a shortage is inevitable and it seeing them makes some concerned about their waist sizes. It happens a lot when several capital Bs and Qs are used. Barbecue season or DIY shopping posts can get a high proportion of thread closures. Salad chat-in clutches never cause issues.

Has anyone heard off long bans as the last site i joined a while back would ban you for a maxium off 48hrs if you where really bad.

Yes. I've been banned for a week.

I know of at least one lady who has a forum life ban.

It's simple; read the rules and stay within them.

I have just looked through the t & c's off site as i like to stay on the correct side off the site but could someone direct me to the part about forum rules as i can't find them. I do understand that common sense is a thing you should use on the site but there will be times that someone will post something that people find a good topic and others could find offensive so if there is rules that explain in black and white and not in legal jargon i would be more than gratefully read . Cheers
