Garmin. One of the Nuvi ones.

Stunning bit of kit, lifetime maps update.

I use a Tom Tom when abroad (it has been faultless in the US).

For Britain I just use Waze on my phone, it's never put me wrong yet.

She should invest in a car charger then...

Its all true!

My phone Is great for Satnav but it rapes the battery!

So recommendations for a mobile charger might be an idea!!

I have a NavMan Mio called Moira. She is about 7 years ld, so some maps are out of date. She still does a great job though.

I bought a new Garmin recently. She's called Tranny Annie. I bought her as she has free lifetime map updates. Gets me around the UK and Europe with no fuss.

Derbyshire

We got a tom-tom on special offer from Halfords for our Europe trip: absolute life-(marriage-) saver! Also free updates for life, around £70 I think.

And she doesn't answer back, nor moan when you forget her birthday...
