random road trips

left my house yesterday with the intention of going food shopping.. ended up 4 hour 30 mins away at my mothers... no over night bag

so where have you ever gone on a truly un planned road trip.

I used to do this all the time in the US. It's easy to just keep on driving there. And I ended up all sorts of places.

We once had all the kids in the car and thru Twitter we heard they were filming doctor who, we live in Kent, it was 4pm already, we all looked at each other and four hours later we ended up in Cardiff!!! Best night ever!

We go for the occasional drive but never anywhere as good at such last minute notice
