I was reading 1984, but stopped. Need to pick it back up. Great read, and eerily pertinent in today's climate.

What are my fellow fabsters reading? Descriptions of porn videos doesn't count

Currently "The big drop"

Merville 1944

It's the story of the behind enemy lines mission to take out the gun battery's the night before D-Day

My uncles are mentioned alot as they were both paras.

One was KIA and one was captured and escaped. Its very emotional.

I finally gave in and decided to give The DaVinci Code a go. It's every bit as awful as I feared it would be : )

RubyWoo inspired me the other week and I'm re-reading Moll Flanders. I'm finding it difficult to get into new novels for some reason, but there's a comfort blanket quality to some books so I'm revisiting those until I'm better able to focus.

Just finished A Life In Secrets by Sarah Helm. It's an extraordinary book about some extraordinary women in extreme circumstances.

Not sure what to read next.

Same here unless it's really unbearably bad : ) I'll finish this anyway, it's only a few days worth of reading.

I've seen the chapel on telly, it looks lovely. The book would be okay as a bit of pulp fiction but there's this silly preface where he claims that it's all based on fact lol.
