I know this is a place for swingers but I really need to let this out. Many people who know me know that my son is severely autistic. He started eating food for a couple of months when he was a baby and then just stopped. Well, to cut a long story short, today I am in England taking my son out to a restaurant for our first EVER sit down meal together. He has finally started to eat food. I have waited 18 and a half years for this. I know I will have to hold back the tears but am so happy, I just had to share. Xx

He had tomato and basil soup with bread. I have never seen him really chew food but I was bursting with pride. My son had made me such a strong person and I realize that if he can live with his condition, I can handle what life throws at me. Thank you all so much for your kind words, it means a lot to me. Xx
