Better looking with age.

I've always looked back at my early 20's as my best looking years. That was until today, Hubby found an old SD card and showed me a picture of what I used to look like ouch!!!! I have definitely improved since then (not by much mind lol)

So my question is do you think you are better looking now than you were when you were younger?

I think I'm better looking because I'm more confident in myself. Also helps being a blonde than a brunette as in my earlier days! I also look at people my own age and think I've aged pretty well!

This is a hard one, cause when we look at old pictures we always look fact because of the fashions and hairstyles.

But facially I think I was the most attractive around the age of 20 but I'm also happy with the mature woman I am, but that comes with age and confidence, I'm sat here with a picture of me early 20s and I was quite nice.

One thing that has never changed is my smile

I didn't have a clue in my 20's! I always felt so awkward. I'm much more comfy in my own skin now and know what I like and what suits me.

I think I had more potential 10 years ago but better execution now! So if I could have done my hair and makeup and clothes the way I do now on my face and body then, I would have looked better.

I was at my prime at 23-28 before I turned into a hag.

Mr on the other hand has gotten better with age. I think he's peaking right now.

My best looking years were 25 to 35

I am now beginning to age noticeably and seem to have an alarming number of doctors, dentist and hospital appointments I have to attend

I have also lost some of my sexual confidence (which is no bad thing).

That said, I have never had so much confidence in myself or my personal and professional abilities.

I'm not sure if I'm better looking now than when I was in my 20's as there are obviously age related issues now but I'm lucky to have good skin, thank you genes!

What I am now though is way more confident & capable of making the best of myself.

I don't think i meant taken advantage....more...made the most of my looks. I didn't really make much effort with Make up or doing my hair etc.....but now i really have to...if i had made an effort then i could have been attractive rather than plain Jane.

I'm happy being me and I'm loads more confident now i just recognise that my looks have past their best that's a all.

I'm a lot better looking now than I was when I was younger. I did that typical fat girl thing where I overcompensated for my size with being loud. I didn't want to be physically noticed though so mostly dressed in virtual sacks.

Maybe I'm the reverse of you... I wasn't fat when i was younger. The weight has crept on and i now look 40 instead of 20!

Definitely, I was an awkward teenager and I hate seeing photos from me in my 20's...I just think what was I thinking.

A couple of years ago I bumped in to an old flame that I went out with when I was 24 and she definitely thought that I was hotter now than I was back then.

I also feel more comfortable with myself now. I don't feel the need to compete and find that I take time to enjoy things rather than try and rush through and move at 100 miles per hour.

I used to feel sad about my hair going though, but when I look back through old photos of what I used to do with it, I think Mother Nature decided I didn't know what I was doing so took it away from me!

I would say yes, wouldn't I? But I do think I am. Probably because I look after my hair better than I did in my 20s

I do have more luck with ladies now than I did then, but that's more likely to be because I'm generally more confident

I was better looking when I was younger, it didnt take as much effort. Nowadays I am probably more confident but getting the face ready takes longer now with all the extra products I need to use to keep those crows feet hidden

I've been told I look younger now than I did through most of my 20s.

Having lost weight has really made a difference for me. I was 19 stone heavier, and just felt all round "puffy and fat" Much happier now, and think that approaching 39 I do ok... I got ID'd for wine a few weeks ago!

I met with a group of friends recently, some who I hadn't seen for 15-20 years and lots said I hadn't changed one bit which made me wonder did I always look this fucking old even back then!!

Whilst working in the pub tonight, two of my old school friends came in .I introduced them to my son and he said "bloody hell mum I thought they where years older than you"

Guess I must have matured with age .Or I have a diamond son .X

Confidence is cool and you carry it through with you throughout your life. I was a little bit insecure about how I looked when I was in my 20's

i dont think i made the most of myself when i was younger - definately through my 30's i went through the trackie bums and polo shirt phase - andi used to be a grey black and navy girl - all that changed when i got divorced and i discovered me and colour
