Anyone done a parkrun this morning?. Did you manage to break a pb?. I was resting my legs this morning so i helped marshall my local one and cheer them on. It's great seeing all the runners improve as the week's go by.

I donlt have a local one and it would mean travelling to London to do one (logistically far easier than getting to the Welwyn or St Albans ones without a car!) and then I;d probably head to my old local one of Hackney as it's flat and fast. So I don;t bother any more as an hour travelling kind of offsets the free and easy aspect of them!

I am a massive advocate of them thought

Why not start a local one?

The idea of being caight up in the politics of a local running scene that has 2 feuding running clubs in this town and 2 feuding triathlon clubs in the neighbouring town is not for me!

Slightly less flippantly there is also the consideration that there is no way I could commit to every saturday morning, it's a huge commitment

Fair point, I imagine it could be more trouble than it's worth.
