....live in the uk, if you could/would change location?

although I'm a city dweller, I don't really want to spend my life doing so. my heart wants me to live near water, preferably near the sea, so i say cornwall. i can't imagine me living in the countryside, i like the hustle and bustle too much. xx

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Travelling around the countryside I see loads of places that are great to visit, so for a few hours, some for several days, but I can`t ever imagining ever moving from my current house. I`m one of a dying breed who was born at home, the home I`m still living in, so I`ve known no different!

I would love a flat over looking Russell or Tavistock Squares in London, and a house in the Wiltshire or Dorset with a garden.

"I would love....... a house in Dorset with a garden. "

You`d like my place then, certaily the location and the size of the garden. There`s eight former Local Authority semis in my road with other Bankes Estate (now Natzi Trust) tied cottages and tennant farms. I can about five houses from my front window and none at the back, just fields and trees!

One city location I`d like to try living in for a bit is those flats around the ponds at the Barbican in the City Of London. I know they`re very 1960`s in design and listed so you can`t change them, but they strangely appeal!

I would like to call on you when in the areas. Perhaps we could have tea?

I've lived in cities throughout UK and Europe, but I love this little seaside village I've eventually pitched up in.

I can hear the sea from my window, the back of the house overlooks nothing but fields between myself and the next village and the sea beside that.

My youngest is safe to go out and about and runs wild all summer, living between the beach and the parks with his pals.

The local villagers all know each others kids and outer doors are never locked during the day but stand open and inviting. My own little bit of heaven on earth.

Google The East Neuk of Fife and check out the string of little fishing villages.

We moved from the Black Country to Cornwall in 1995.

We aren't beach or water people though. We love the rural village life, but the fact that we are only 20mins from nearest beach means we can enjoy both.

The biggest drawback is it's distance from the rest of you lot. It's 100 miles to the start of the M5 at Exeter for us.

We travel back to the Midlands regularly and try to meet as many of you peeps as we can on our nights at Chams
