It was quite interesting as I watched the inside out program yesterday about breast milk. More and more are ordering from the internet and one site in particular is popular, but do most know what they are getting? The reporter got few samples and did some testing and they come up with few cow dna mixed with human milk and some dangerous bacteria and as they talked to the food standard, she was chocked of the findings and urged anyone not to get it from the internet, but with tougher laws to the online sellers coming soon, will become harder for them, so would you say that sharing breast milk is better and whats your thoughts?

If I'd had enough I would have definitely fed another baby.

Chams or Socials

I tried to!!! My youngest couldn't keep mine down so had a special formula.

Donating milk is not that easy & very strictly monitored (as it should be). My local hospital wouldn't take mine so I froze it as used it in his meals instead.

Morally, I'd have no issues donating to a local NICU/SCBU but would never condone internet sales (and can't comprehend that someone would consider giving "breast milk" to their baby when they have no idea who or where it's come from and how it's been stored - although I know most internet sales are bought for kink).

However, as my Son couldn't latch, I struggled to find the time to express milk for HIM, let alone anyone else.

I'd most definitely have shared if I could have, however I always struggled with breastfeeding my babies.

My mum informed me going back years ago it was quite the norm.

Yes I'd donate breast milk. If I'd have known about donating I've have done it when feeding my children. With the right stimulation because I've lactate before I could do it again.
