Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I didn't know it was on.

I believe we have enough resources (food and stuff) to end poverty. The thing that prevents it is a perceived need to subjugate some, greed of others (I would fall into that category as I have more than I actually need) and a global economy based on keeping some things away from some people.

I don't think there's any need for poverty!

However there's always going to be a need for haves and have nots!

Sooner or later we will have to tackle population growth because we're going to find it really hard to get 10 billon people basic resources while maintaining a have and have not position

I find it quite distasteful it hasnt been promoted well enough because of the 'eww' factor...the facts are all there, and it's a bloody cheap way to live...and potentially healthier.

some people would rather starve it appears...

I haven't looked (I assume it's insect protein and I've got beef almost ready).

The food programme on R4 today was interesting on how the Americans have made chicken the most common protein now.

"Is this about poverty or malnutrition? "

poverty to me is about having enough food shelter and warmth, thats why I gave a link to something that is incredibly simple.

People visiting food banks has been something quite recently on lots of peoples minds..if I was having such a hard time being able to feed myself I would gladly eat something thats probably healthier than a ready made microwave meal....and at a fraction of the cost.

"

When government discover we cannot control climate then there is a chance to provide resources to feed everyone.

Until that time there is no chance.

Global warming will be around for another couple of thousand years before the flip back to global cooling like it always has done.

.

That's just nonsense, absolute nonsense....

Find me one peer reviewed scientific paper to back your claim!

Try actually reading some science
